Monitoring and Reporting
The Local Government Act 2002 requires Manukau City Council to monitor and report on progress at least once every three years.
The targets attached to each community outcome provide the way by which we can track progress towards the city vision.
We report this progress in “The Changing Face of Manukau”, which is due to be updated and published in late 2008 (three years after the review of Tomorrow’s Manukau).

In August 2006, a Tomorrow’s Manukau Workbook was published, detailing the way in which 42 service providers operating in this city will help each other to achieve community outcomes. The Workbook contained actions and outputs, and organisations reported progress at the end of 2007.
