New Projects

At its meeting in May, the Tomorrow’s Manukau Steering Group agreed to sponsor the establishment of a Manukau Housing Working Party, and to support two other projects - one aimed at improving youth transitions and the other around community enterprise and reducing waste.

The establishment of the Manukau Housing Working Party is in response to growing evidence and concern that the current economic recession is worsening already severe housing need in Manukau.

The other two projects are being fully scoped and explored, and project plans will be developed before final sign-off and agreement by the Steering Group.
