Four Priority Areas for Māori Outcomes
Four priority areas have been identified following consultation with Māori in Manukau over the last several months. These are:
- Political influence/decision-making
- Education
- Health
- Economic development
A governance structure is currently being designed which will be presented to the key reference groups for consultation. Once the governance structure is in place, implementation will begin, supported by a management and administration team.
An environmental scan is also underway to highlight areas where there is potential for improvement or further action to support outcomes for Māori in these four priorities. (more)
